Operations & Business Development
Dermot has had responsibility for the business development for ESP since its inception. He began his career as an automation engineer with Siemens Germany for several years in their department for transport technologies. On returning to Ireland, he worked within the electronics industry supporting internal sales activities. In 1997, he moved into business development within the life science industry focused on automation systems. He has also worked independently as a computer systems and automation validation engineer.
Dermot is one of the four founding directors of ESP.
Head of European Operations
Diarmuid is Head of European Operations for ESP. He is a lead MES/ERP specialist with 20 years’ experience of IT systems within leading pharmaceutical multinationals. Diarmuid has strong experience in ERP systems, including SAP and JD Edwards as well as responsibility for the management of other projects including implementation of multiple MES projects. Diarmuid has a track record in setting the strategy for the design, documentation, and validation of “Core” systems which allowed individual site roll-outs leverage from the initial effort. He is the one of the four founding directors of ESP.
Eddie is one of the four founding directors of ESP. He is a lead MES/Automation specialist whose career began as an automation engineer in general industry with Siemens. Eddie has designed, implemented and overseen numerous automation projects within the major manufacturing pharmaceutical plants in Ireland and has led teams of over 70 IT/Automation engineers. With over 20 years’ experience, Eddies understanding of complex automation and MES projects provides valuable insight and support to clients around the world.
Liam is one of the four founding directors of ESP and is Managing Director for the group. He is a leading MES, process and automation solutions specialist within the life science industry. Liam, whose career spans over 30 years (20 in the life science industry) also has extensive commercial and project management experience. Other industries he has experience in are Oil & Gas, mining and general manufacturing.
Senior VP of Consulting and Operations
Linda is Senior VP of Consulting and Operations for ESP. She is an experienced engineering consultant within the pharmaceutical sector. She has expert knowledge in the scoping, design and implementation of Track & Trace and serialization projects to comply with global anti-counterfeiting legislation. She is located in California and as well as being directly involved in serialization projects, she is also responsible for developing new business partnerships and forging new relationships on the West Coast.
Senior VP of North American Operations
Baha is Senior VP of North American Operations at ESP. He has over 25 years’ experience as a business owner, consultant and project manager for multinational engineering and software development organization. He has expertise in MES consulting, MES/ERP integration, DCS, automation and process control for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and chemical manufacturing. He has experience implementing ISA S88 and S95 standards to improve Batch Process Automation. His experience includes validation and project life cycle management and execution. He is an active participant in WBF, ISPE, ISA S88 and S95 activities and has presented papers on project management, MES and automation.
Packaging & Serialization Consultant
Yvonne is a Packaging and Serialization Consultant with ESP. She is a highly experienced pharmaceutical and biotechnology professional with specialist knowledge of packaging and GMP systems. She has worked for leading global companies and delivered results in areas such as project management, packaging hall design, process development, packaging validation, operations management, lean six sigma, implementing 2D coding & serialization on packaging lines.
Bart is an Operations Manager with ESP with specific responsibility for Western Europe (excluding Ireland and UK). Bart is an experienced MES project manager who has successfully managed multiple global MES rollouts. He has worked in the area of MES for almost 15 years, predominately from the client perspective, which brings a unique and balanced focus to our team.
Serialization Director & Senior Consultant
Liam is Serialization Director and Senior Consultant with ESP, providing IT, serialization and MES consultancy services. He has 25 years’ experience working across a range of industries. He has managed serialization projects in the electronics, mobile phone, automotive, medical device and pharmaceutical industries. This experience allows him a unique perspective on the impact of serialization within the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a first class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Global HR & Resourcing Manager
Anita is Global HR & Resourcing Manager for ESP. She graduated with an honours degree in Electronic Engineering in 1992 and has developed technical competencies in a variety of ERP manufacturing computer systems. These include SAP, AS400 Mac Pac and JDEdwards World and One World ERP systems in the semiconductor and medical devices industries. Having been part of the project team for an MES implementation with Enterprise System Partners in 2003 she has a sound knowledge and application of PMX Electronic Batch Record implementation in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and is very experienced in training and end user and technical support. In 2012 Anita joined ESP once again, and brought her technical and training background to the HR & Resourcing Manager’s role. Anita now manages the resourcing and HR team across Europe and the US to support the needs of ESP’s rapidly growing business across these regions.
Head of Marketing
Claire is Head of Marketing for ESP. She has over 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing having begun her career in the hotel industry where she was responsible for promotion, advertising, public relations and relationship management. She led a successful engineering recruitment division in a recruitment company in Cork before joining ESP in 2006. Having been part of the business development and resourcing team in ESP for six years, she took responsibility for the marketing function of the company in 2012. She now manages the full marketing brief for the group including branding, promotion, media and events.
Regional Manager, Research Triangle
Kevin is Regional Manager at our office based in the Research Triangle in North Carolina, USA. As well as being responsible for business development in the area, Kevin is a Senior MES Engineer with over 12 years’ experience as an engineer and project manager for systems integration projects within life sciences including control and SCADA systems. Kevin takes an active technical role in projects and has exceptional organisational skills – often managing multi-disciplinary teams on simultaneous large and small scale projects.
Senior Global Technical Consultant
Neil is a Senior Global Technical Consultant for Enterprise System Partners. His particular areas of expertise are MES and serialization having gained more than 15 years’ experience implementing these solutions across several industries. He has over 8 years PAS-X experience across multiple versions. Neil’s background in manufacturing engineering and product introductions across multiple industries, provides a valuable insight into process requirements and overall project deliverables and priorities.
Senior Consultant & Project Manager
Dr. Paul Murray is a Senior Consultant for Enterprise System Partners (ESP). He has specific expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS). He has over 15 years’ experience in the life science industry including staff positions with Johnson & Johnson and Amgen. He has comprehensive management and consultancy skills with a good practicle understanding of technology, business strategies and drivers, business change management, project management and project control processes. He has managed several major MES projects and is a lead MBR Factory Consultant.
Head of Global Consulting
Philip is Head of Global Consulting for ESP. He has a proven track record in corporate/operational leadership and strong cross functional capabilities (business, IT, automation and quality/validation) plus program management pedigree. He has multi-sector experience across the healthcare/pharma/biotech/chemical and luxury goods sectors working to EU and FDA regulated standards.
Manufacturing Systems Consultant
Paul is currently a Senior Manufacturing System consultant for ESP with responsibility for Global account management. His previous role was as Head of Development and Engineering at a major biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ireland. This role evolved from a site based position to one of Global responsibility providing global leadership and expertise for central GxP solutions within the MES and Development & Engineering systems environment. Paul was responsible for all stages of the application system life cycle including selection, development, site deployment, and continued global support to local sites and regional Deploy & Run organisations. Over the last two years the focus had been on building one global team along with identification of all application systems within the domain, development of a systems consolidations strategy and prioritization of the funding for the development/delivery of new global core applications within the business, all while managing the legacy systems retirement strategy.
Regional Director, Eastern Europe & Middle East
Alp is an experienced project manager with specific expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems
(MES), Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and
Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS). He has over 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical
industry. Alp is experienced in project and program management ensuring operational excellence
and customer relationships, with significant expertise and demonstrated results
for process improvement and obtaining results using Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Paul joined ESP in 2015 and has responsibility for Operations within Ireland. He supports the day to day operations functions with particular focus on Ireland. A key part of this role is to support the introduction of new resources and in particular to maintain regular engagement with operations team members. Paul also works with our clients here in Ireland to ensure that ESP continues to provide the high level of quality service as has been the case to date.
Enterprise System Partners was founded in 2003, initially project managing the implementation of a Rockwell PMX MES system in Pfizer, Cork. Today we are a global organization, involved in diverse projects including MES, serialization, automation, laboratory systems, quality and validation.
